GTC proudly supported IPMI’s Intellectual Property Law & Management Institute again this year. David Bender (Special Counsel), Tony Decicco (Member), Paul Jean (Member) and Mike Webber (Member) attended on behalf of GTC, with Mike serving as Chairman of the conference.
In addition, Tony and David gave a presentation on “Open Source Software and Data Management: Analogues in the Effort to Manage Risk” in which they discussed ways companies take on unknown business, legal, technical and security risks in the open source software and privacy environments by providing mobile apps, selling devices with embedded software, developing software tools to provide professional services, collecting, storing and mining customer data and the like.
