Position Requirements

  • 1-7+ years of technology/software law experience from a leading law firm, in-house legal department or open source program office
  • Degree in computer science or software engineering and/or experience in the software industry as a developer a plus
  • Experience with open source software licensing review and compliance is a plus, including:
    • Familiarity with common open source licenses
    • Familiarity with software composition analysis tools (such as Synopsys/Black Duck and Flexera/Palamida/Revenera)
  • Licensed to practice law in US
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • High comfort level with work in a distributed professional environment and eagerness to actively build relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent client service and management skills
  • Ability to demonstrate professional discretion and sound judgment
  • Must work well both independently and as a contributing member of our hardworking teams
  • Passion and enthusiasm to learn and expand skill set
