January 6, 2025—GTC Law Group attorneys Shea Leitch and David Bender are participating in a webinar entitled, “Navigating the Privacy Landscape: A Primer and Recent Updates in US and EU Privacy Law,” hosted by the Washington DC Chapter of the Licensing Executives Society USA & Canada (LES), a professional organization for intellectual property and licensing experts.

The webinar, taking place January 8, will cover recent developments in privacy law and offer a comprehensive introduction to the core privacy laws in the United States and the European Union, while also diving into emerging AI regulations, cross-border data transfer frameworks, and privacy litigation trends. Shea and David will provide actionable insights to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain trust in a fast-evolving legal landscape.

Shea is a member of GTC’s growing data privacy group. With over 10 years at the forefront of privacy and data protection law, she has served as a trusted advisor to multinational companies in an array of industries who rely on her to provide timely, strategic and practical advice as they build and adapt their global privacy and security programs.
