Tony and Leon shared expertise on the impact open source software may have on transactions (such as M&A events, large customer contracts and IPOs) for venture backed startups, and address myths regarding the use of open source software by SaaS companies. The presentation featured a lively discussion of the competing views of buyers and sellers and provided GCs with actionable insights they can use to pave the way for a smooth exit.

Earlier in the day, GTC shareholders Rick Olin, Lisa Trainor and Anthony Decicco hosted TechGCx’s Boston lunch event for senior in-house counsel at local technology companies.
