Leon helps clients ranging from innovative start-ups to Fortune 100 companies navigate various types of transactions, complex licensing arrangements, and other IP and business-related legal issues.
His practice focuses on drafting and negotiating IP-centric licensing, supply and partnership agreements, and guiding buy and sell-side clients through various phases of M&A and other transactions. Leon’s technical understanding of various software architectures helps him bridge the gap that often exists between legal departments, corporate development, and engineering.
As co-lead of the firm’s open source group, he leverages his near decade-long experience as a software engineer to provide clear, actionable, practical guidance for our rapidly-shifting legal landscape where use of open source software, generative AI, and other technology-related legal issues can present complex challenges and introduce risks.
