Robert Nortrup is a technology specialist and registered patent agent and focuses on intellectual property strategy and related business concerns. Prior to GTC, Robert worked for 12 years as a systems engineer within Lockheed Martin Space Systems, where he most notably lead the project team that developed one of the first digital imaging cameras for space flight, on board the international NASA/ESA spacecraft SOHO. In addition, Robert has worked on a number of other major NASA and military space flight programs, as well as having spent eight years teaching physics. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, and a Masters of Education from Rutgers University.
