Overview
Stacey helps clients ranging from early-stage startups to universities to large corporations navigate complex intellectual property challenges by translating highly technical science and technology into practical, business‑aligned strategies. Her work focuses on patent counseling, IP strategy, and due diligence for M&A and other technology‑driven transactions.
Stacey believes that listening—truly listening, without judgment and without the reflex to insert one’s own story—is hard work, and it’s work she has committed to and carries into every interaction, including those with clients. Combined with the scientific foundation that allows her to quickly understand and contextualize the innovations her clients develop or seek to evaluate, her approach, rooted in deep listening and thoughtful inquiry, allows her to understand not only the science behind a client’s innovation but also the motivations, pressures, and decision points shaping their work. This enables her to collaborate effectively with clients as they clarify complex technical issues, develop IP strategies aligned with their business goals, and make decisions with confidence.
